Convenient can be healthy. Eating healthy doesn't mean you have to make everything fresh at home. Look for some of these convenience foods to make meal planning quick and easy: minute brown rice, high-fiber cold cereal, canned tuna/salmon, frozen veggie pizza, individual cups of cottage cheese with fruit, whole wheat pasta, unsweetened applesauce in individual containers, baby carrots, dried fruit, string cheese, chopped lettuce, nuts, fresh fruit and snack bars - just to name a few!
