Give yourself options. Remember the statement "When _______________, I will ______________." Use this in all areas of the Wellness Triangle. For example, use this with your exercise routine: When (it rains), I will (do my exercise DVD). For a nutrition goal: When (I'm running late and don?t have time for breakfast), I will (drink a glass of milk before leaving the house). And, for coping: When (I start doubting my progress), I will (make a list of all the changes I've made).
